Awaiting their inevitable deaths at one of the worst concentration camps, a group of Jews make a rabbinical court to decide whether God has gone against the Holy Covenant and if He is the one guilty for their suffering.
The year is 2013 and, with the abolition of the death penalty, prisons are overflowing across the globe presenting a major problem for the authorities. The solution is to ship a consignment of them to a far-flung, freezing god-forsaken place and let them colonize it. When they find themselves deposited at their new home, the authorities leave a pile of numbered keys with which to unlock their chains, and then retreat to a safe distance. I haven't see such a shocking movie in a long time
I liked an idea of this film although I've seen a very similar American film but not that well made. Russians are pretty good at crime and prison movies and this one is no exception. The dialogs between prisoners were pretty realistic and sometimes even funny. What else did I like was a violent moments which were pretty shocking and there was a lot of them. That's also the main thing which I liked about this film. The bloody fights, cannibalism and sadism between prisoners made this film to be one of the most shocking films I've seen. I also liked a short appearance of Tommy Lister in this film, it was kinda surprising. The only thing that was bad about this movie was the ending which made no sense.
