Intrigue

Tells the story of Jerry, who has done well during Irelands recent economic boom. From the outside it looks like he has the perfect life, but if we scratch the surface there is something very dark and disturbing underneath. Jerry is a middle-aged man who, thanks to Ireland's 'economic miracle' has become a financially comfortable property developer. He has recently married a younger woman and they live together under the media-made promise of a perfect family life. But their marriage, already tainted by compromise, is made all the more complex by the fact that Jerry has a severely disabled son from a previous marriage and gradually their aspirations turn to desperation.
