MPAA Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, suggestive content and some disturbing images

Sex & Nudity

  • Major is a robot that is skin colored. This robot has no nudity whatsoever. It is merely skin colored. This is why the movie was given a PG-13 rating. None of the scenes in the movie are graphic.
  • She wears a thermoptic suit which is vaguely skin coloured but doesn't look explicit.
  • hundreds of nude female androids showed from distance (and no graphic nudity visible obviously is a PG-13 movie dude)
  • Shows scenes of The Major wearing a flesh-colored artificial costume, there is no nudity whatsoever.

Violence & Gore

  • Several shootouts, with some blood but no gore.
  • A character is seen to stab a knife through a victim's arm where the blade is seen protruding through the arm. The arm is mechanical, though.
  • Some scenes of violence also contain brief depictions of bloodshed where bloodstains are seen on the clothing of victims who are killed by gunfire.

  • The film contains some instances of mild language such as the terms "screwed", "*ss", "sh*t" and "piss", and one shot of a middle finger.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Several men at a fancy dinner drink alcohol. One man smokes a cigar.
  • One woman smokes cigarettes in a few separate scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The cloaked mysterious figure may be frightening for some viewers.
  • The scenes that include shooting and fighting are intense.
  • A Geisha bot attacks a man, then distorts in a disturbing way to escape. The entire scene would certainly be frightening to some.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a scene where a man is possessed by a hacker, then hangs himself. Not much is shown, but the idea is disturbing.
