Trivia

Wounded in a battle, Dr Strange transports himself to a hospital, where he tells Dr Parker, "cardiac tamponade" (also known as pericardial tamponade). The pericardium is a kind of sac around the heart; normally, a small amount of fluid between the heart and the pericardium provides lubrication, allowing the heart to beat without scraping against the other structures in the chest. Cardiac tamponade means an excess amount of fluid between the heart and pericardium (in this case blood leaking out of the heart through a wound). This can put pressure on the heart, preventing it from beating, which can be fatal. The immediate treatment is to stick a needle between the heart and pericardium to remove the excess fluid. It will also be necessary to close the wound in the heart. See more »

Goofs

At one point, Stephen Strange says he has a photographic memory, and proves it. In real life, this ability has never been shown to exist. People who are capable of recalling lots of data at will do so with the help of elaborate mnemonic devices. Interestingly, Benedict Cumberbatch played a version of Sherlock Holmes who uses memory palaces (also known as the Method of loci) to recall information in accurate detail. See more »

Great
24 February 2020 | by MR_HeracliusSee all my reviews

I was not prepared for the visuals this movie offered. Nevertheless, I absorbed it in its full glory. It was easy to enjoy this movie not only because of its visuals but also because of the quirkiness and lovable characters. A must-watch!
