Wounded in a battle, Dr Strange transports himself to a hospital, where he tells Dr Parker, "cardiac tamponade" (also known as pericardial tamponade). The pericardium is a kind of sac around the heart; normally, a small amount of fluid between the heart and the pericardium provides lubrication, allowing the heart to beat without scraping against the other structures in the chest. Cardiac tamponade means an excess amount of fluid between the heart and pericardium (in this case blood leaking out of the heart through a wound). I was not prepared for the visuals this movie offered. Nevertheless, I absorbed it in its full glory. It was easy to enjoy this movie not only because of its visuals but also because of the quirkiness and lovable characters. A must-watch!
