The footage used for the Napoleonic Rocket troops was originally shot in England for the A&E documentary Rockets, however for that show the interview with Mark Dennis and much of the footage ended up on the cutting room floor. The shoot was organized by Tim Pickles who was later engaged by Digital Ranch for the first series of Mail Call and suggested that the footage might be re-used, it was found that it created a perfect segment to answer one of the early viewer question that would otherwise have been far too expensive to film.
