Seventy-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin.
Billy (Michael Douglas), Paddy (Robert De Niro), Archie (Morgan Freeman) and Sam (Kevin Kline) have been best friends since childhood. So when Billy, the group's sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. However, upon arriving, the four quickly realize that the decades have transformed Sin City and tested their friendship in ways they never imagined. The Rat Pack may have once played the Sands and Cirque du Soleil may now rule the Strip, but it's these four who are taking over Vegas.Written by
Archie is retired from the U.S. Air Force, the same branch of service of which Morgan Freeman is a veteran. The two pictures seen at the beginning of the film of Archie in uniform, were actually of Morgan during his time in the service. See more »
After Archie leaves his house for Vegas you are shown a aerial view of Brooklyn. If you watch the bridge in the lower right corner you can not only see the shadow of the helicopter taking the footage , but the helicopter footage is rewound as seen by the helicopter floating backward. See more »
I'm old. You know? And without her, I'm just scared of being old.
We were 17, you now, five minutes ago. It was just yesterday. I just don't know where it all went, you know? My brain cannot conceive how old this body is.

I went to see this film the second day after release and i wasn't sure if it would be decent... but it was hilarious! It is The Hangover old people's edition with lots of old age jokes that kept me and the whole cinema laughing all the way through!
I can see why Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman accepted this film because they were brilliant! I had no idea Freeman could play a funny role and Robert De Niro surprised me too with his great role!
I feel all ages will love this as it is clearly meant for everybody to watch. The only problem I found with it was that it had one of those cheesy childhood plots where they link it with when they are older ruined it slightly for me but it had to have some form of a plot so i didn't mind at all.
