When All That's Left Is Love

I saw this as part of the Satisfied Eye International Film Festival and by the end of the screening there wasn't a dry eye in the house. A wonderfully honest and truthful film that looks at the real impact of Alzheimer's on the families and loved ones whose lives become completely torn apart by the illness; and whose role shifts from loved one to that of a care giver. It's a profound and moving film where the line becomes blurred when considering who really suffers most at the hands of this terrible illness. It's shot with brutal honesty and with an ever-ageing population where Alzheimer's and dementia are becoming more prevalent - and therefore those affected more ubiquitous - it's a film that I think everyone needs to watch.
