Malky is a tattoo covered nightclub doorman with a penchant for violence. His armour is his heavily muscled body, his weapons - his hands and his feet. He has used physical prowess to beat back and keep at bay his many enemies. It is something he has done all his adult life. That is, until now. Malky is forced to come out of his dark world, finding himself at confession where he asks for forgiveness. Not for something he has done, but rather for something he is about to do. Something that will finally lay his hidden past to rest forever. Written by Geoff Thompson

I went to see this film at a screening last week and like everyone present I was just blown away with how good it is.
BAFTA winning film writer Geoff Thompson puts pen to paper again for a 27 minute short film about a very personal real life event from his youth. The film is superbly directed and shot by The Shammasian Bros and Charlotte Bruus Christensen.
Playing Geoff Thompson in the film is award winning stage actor Craig Conway - here he puts in a screen performance that even Daniel Day-Lewis would be proud of. I think this film will be shown at most major film festivals around the world, make the effort to catch it if you can.
