Generasi 90an: Melankolia

Though promising, 'Generasi 90an: Melankolia,' directed by M. Irfan Ramli, fails to fully flesh out the film and, unfortunately, too many missteps harm a story that had the potential to be more about grief, loss, and letting go. The cast is good and the film is technically well made, but its lack of character development, much less sympathetic characters, make for a trying, sometimes baffling experience.
