An off-screen rape occurs resulting in an illegitimate child. Prostitution and sexually-transmitted disease are involved in the plot. Rape is casually threatened throughout the episodes by three different characters. After it finally occurs off-screen,, we see the victim cradling her assaulted body.

Not constant, but violence usually contains some bloodletting. Nothing overtly gory.

Lots of gun violence directed at animals including horses, cattle , rabbits, wolves,and a pig.

A man is shown after he was hung with guts hanging out of his abdomen, and his neck being snapped by the rope. Surprisingly realistic and gory.

A Native American has been strung up in an upside down position between two poles, some guts hanging out can be seen, and he has about a dozen arrows in his body.

An overly clothed woman eventually removes her sunglasses and uncovers her head, showing off brutal scars. In the past she had been scalped, her head overall defaced, and her eyelids cut off. Fairly realistic and quite disturbing.

At least a couple of F words in each episode.
