Shortly before christmas a german odd couple is driving not completely volunraily through poland in a rattly old car.
The square becoming lawyer Max Löwenberg investigates in former german property while the constantly gabbling student Anna has a more simple but not less extraordinary goal: She wants her car to be stolen.
Both have to recognize that they reckon without polish hosts and Santa Clauses.
Heartiness, hospitality and a lot of vodka are the reason that the main characters become closer to their polish neighbours and also to each other.
Partly conventional, partly original Film making fun of anti-polish and anti-german prejudices.
