Till now I think this is the best TV series in Ramadan 2021.

What an amazing performance from Mona Zaki and Muhammad Mamdouh.

Highly recommended.

Astonishing performance

What a wonderful performance by Hana (mona Zaki) and Mones! I watched the whole series in less than 24 hours. She deserves the Oscars.

The plot is very real but it has some shortcoming but the actors performance makes you forget them.

Best series in Ramadan. Chapeau to the whole crew!👌🏻

The best thing I noticed ,Mona speaks English fluently and yet it proves that she's not.

Unique and mystery performance from Mona Zaki and and Mohamed Mamdouh .

One of my fav shows on Netflix
CarmenSandiegoIII11 February 2022
I'm North American and I absolutely loved this show. Everything from the cast, to the acting, the plot, shooting locations, etc., were spot on. I'm not familiar with these actors, but the lady who played Hanna (whether you loved the character or hated her) did a fantastic performance and should get an award. The actors who played Hazem and Moeness were also absolutely fantastic and Big Zee was hot/made me laugh. There were times I loved and hated all of the characters, but that's part of what made this show so good.

The only thing was the ending (no spoilers), it really got on my nerves, I don't think the right decision was made. I would love to see more/similar types of work, A++ as well to the directors and writers.

Newton's is flipping In his grave
Faisal_KK31 December 2021
First 8 episodes will make on edge of your seat.

The rest you can skip with not even known. The timeline story will look the same to you.

There is so many punch hole in the storyline and the characters. This review page will not be enough.

One last point why Arabic tv series are obsessed with making 30 episodes. You can make 27 it's ok.

Warning: Spoilers
Newton's game movie summary as I saw and understood.

Here, Hazem married Hana and she get pregnant, and she decided to give birth in America.

There she met Mu'nis and his wife Sarah and live with them, then Mu'nis loves her, there Hazem divorced her in her absence on WhatsApp and she knows when she was giving birth.

So, she had a nervous breakdown when her son enters the nursery, and they take him from her, so she has to write him as a son of of Mu'nis so that he does not go to an alternative family.. Then Mo'nis got married Hana.. and Hazem, who was divorced her, would get back to their marriage in her absence, too.. She finds herself with out a divorce paper and is married to another one.. In the other aide,, Badr is still married to Amina, who loves Hazem.. Badr believe in love, multiple loves, all people love each other, I mean.. So, that encourages Amina , her wife, to tell Hazem about her feelings, so her and Hazem traveled and lived together.. Badr returns to his mind and tells Hazem that he loves Amina and wants her again..

A complex relationships and complex topic... The series talks about relationships of Co-dependence and lack of self worth here.. How can it be turned by rebellion and lame attempts to prove oneself.. It talks about the duality of standards and values.. and it talks about the nature of Human beings who is greedy for the other, no matter what his situation is.. and about the steps of giving up what person has, experimenting and returning empty-handed.. It turns the idea over you and sees it upside down so that you can evaluate it better and more broadly.

The art that makes you see life in a different way than what you are used to is the art of performing its mission.

The goal is not to imitate you to change your values, nor taking the characters as a role model.. but instead to understand other meanings and another dimensions, as you have a temporary way out from you, your experience and your mind.

Overwhelming performance
omar-0902328 June 2021
One of the best tv series that any one can ever see along the 30 episodes you'll never get bored Aside from the numerous master scenes by mona zaki in which she reached the climax by an astonishing performance really deep from her heart.

okayish series
cescfabregas-3175215 January 2022
Well because the leading actress was Mona Zaki it is at least descent. The story was too long with useless details. The thing that annoyed me the most is that leading actor, he is not meant for his role, so not a very good job casting.

V DISAPPOINTING ending, with TERRIBLE values-depiction.
farhaidil5 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The plot build-up at the start was good, but got more desperate (aka trying too pathetically hard to be revolutionary, liberal etc). This show teaches us that a woman who strings a man along (one who really loves her) for her own benefit, marries him at her own free will and yet shows him disrespect on many occasions (I'm all for woman empowerment but i think the potrayal of gender equality is lopsided- her willful obstinacy annoys me), brings a man with drug records over to Egypt and trusts him more than she does her own loving husband who literally saved her from danger and misery when she was alone in the US... eventually gets the happy ending? Hana is abhorrent in so many ways! She bulldozes her way everywhere (not in the way that shows intelligence, class and wisdom as a woman should), AND still gets her way. Her luck eventually seemed to be so much better than wonderful Sara, whose husband she stole.

I had really hoped that Mones would get *something* out of this... at least Ibrahim, but nope, she gets him in the end too. Yes, I do not condone marital rape, of course, but it's not like it's an obsessive, compulsive sexual rage or desires that he has- they hadn't consummated their marriage for what, more than 9 mths, so he's probably doing what any man would- either he'd want it really badly from his wife, or seek to release the urge elsewhere (which he didn't), and it eventually didnt happen. She even lied abt getting the divorce papers, which once again, shows her lack of honesty and integrity. And even when Mones begged her for forgiveness, she behaved as if she was the greatest victim in the world, seeking 'protection' behind a man who isn't her husband. Of course, the writers would have thought that slapping him in the club as she was caught dancing wildly, in view of everyone ,is her right. And oh, all this while her child is being left with his father, with whom he is unfamiliar with, and his nanny.

You don't love a man? Fine. Don't stay. Leave, walk away with dignity, go back to the ex-husband you love. But don't victimise others, and don't play victim. We need to teach our children and youth of basic virtues, and this show does NOT teach nor reflect that. I'm an educated woman, Muslim but liberal in my world views, but I do not see this 'win' by Hana as a real, fair win in all fairness.

Acting is on another level. Mona Zaki proved that she is one of the best actors in the field right now. Amazing story and amazing prosecution. Highly recommended and definitely worth the time.

afzal-731879 December 2021
The series has nothing to or nor the premise with Breaking Bad but at some point it does feel like Breaking Bad the thrill and how he solves it and definitely worth watching.

Brilliant and Gripping
clg2383 February 2022
The plot twists and turns are beyond brilliant. They were so powerful I was only able to watch 2 episodes a night at most. The acting is phenomenal--there isn't a false note in the entire series. My only objection to the cast is, oddly enough, the baby, who was badly chosen for the series; the child is often looking away, probably at its true mother or some relative. The settings are beautiful and very interesting, especially to someone who has only been very briefly in Cairo. While I could hardly wait every day to see 2 more episodes, I'm so glad it's over, because too many of them were so haunting I couldn't shake them off easily to think about other things.

What comes around goes around
rashidehzaz17 October 2022
How I can describe the show's plot is like what the name of the show suggest, once the character gains good luck the other falls in hard luck and vice versa, this is something Hazem and Mones was fighting over each other as well as dealing with their personal life, along with Hanna who's like the ball caught between two forces.

I have to say Mones is my favourite even though he is by no means perfect but made the plot more interesting, though the ending is satisfying yet makes me want more from this character. This drama is something to remember as this is my first Egyptian drama I ever watched.
