THE END?
Wait, what? Was truly enjoying this series, and just heard it is over. But but but.....are we not left hanging somewhat? Very disappointed to say the least. Enjoyed the family dynamics, the 'involvement' of the neighbour, and thought the acting was brilliant on all their parts so am giving the 8 to the cast!
That's the end?
I just tuned into Masterpiece expecting to see more Flesh and Blood only to discover a new series is starting! I can't believe Episode 4 is the finale. There has to be more to the story!
Over the top but still down to earth
A great conclusion bringing all the stories together.
Highlighting how families look out for one another.
A strong conclusion after a couple of weak episodes beautifully acted and we'll written credible characters.
Will there be a series 2?

We reach boiling point.
It is finally the evening of Vivien's seventieth birthday party, all of her friends and family is there, it's also where we learn the identity of the victim.
It's been so clever, normally you watch a drama serial and wait until the end to find out who the murderer is, or the guilty party, the refreshing and original change up here was that you wait to find out who the victim is.
I have thoroughly enjoyed it, I was completely off track with regards the outcome. The acting has been superb, they are all wonderful, Imelda Staunton does dazzle though, as she so often does.
It was almost like the final episode of Doctor Foster Series 1, the big scene is played out, and it's of course a shocker, and the reason you've watched it right through. It does not disappoint.
They've left the ending as such that there is a possibility of a return, I hope they don't, it would somehow spoil it.
Best of the series. 9/10

Episode four
I have truly enjoyed this series, but felt like the last episode did not wrap things up. So many unanswered questions. I wish there were one more to give a true conclusion.

Flesh and blood
Episode 4 did not bring the series to a close! 👎
Ten thumbs down! Not worthy of Masterpiece!
