Trivia

During the mock cross examination, Hamilton Burger tells Perry Mason that "No one confesses on the witness stand". This is a joking reference to the 1950s TV series Perry Mason, where guilty people would frequently confess on the stand under Mason's skillful cross examination. See more »

Goofs

After Drake does some investigation for Mason, he (Drake) hands Mason a note with the street address of a diner on 4th Street in Carmel, California. The street address includes a street number, but there are no street numbers in Carmel. Because of this, residents must go to the post office to pick up their mail, and businesses are identified simply by the street they're on and sometimes by the cross street as well. See more »

Perfect ending. Roll on series 2.

I have loved this series from the beginning. It has gripped us and resulted in long conversations at home about what was really happening- and what the solution could be. The ending was better than I could have hoped as there were no cliches and a totally unexpected turn of events-for me anyway. The music playing out the end credits was fantastic!
