- Detective Ina Behrendsen and her boyfriend Leo Fischer, a volunteer seal protector and seal boat tour guide, are woken up by an early morning call for a seal mission on the beach. She drives him to the specified location and jogs away while he is on his seal mission. When she returns, she finds Leo beaten to death with her car jack. Chief Inspector Carl Sievers investigates with his commissioners Behrendsen and Hinnerk Feldmann. They interview suspects, including Leo's seal boat tour business partner Captain Sven and Leo's younger brother Max Fischer.
