Not the typical overly dramatic Spanish melodrama
29 November 2014 | by adriana-mrSee all my reviews

I could write for hours about why I recommend this show. This is not the typical overly dramatic Spanish drama. The actors are not overdressed like the highly-watched TvNovelas do to grab attention. The series touches a lot of taboos that is not common to see in the Hispanic television and all without the need of Murder in the story! It's refreshing and interesting to see...real life situations. The episodes are longer than normal, but there is so much in them... and you can guarantee that you will be able to relate to at least one character. Best of all... No clichés! There's a lot of diversity in the struggles presented ,and I can truly say it's the most Progressive Spanish series of this time. Better yet, there's minimum violence. At least that's not what its all about,so If you like gun action, this show might not be for you. If I could chose one show to watch, It would definitely be this one. The actors might not be the most jaw-dropping, but the writing is simply astonishing and the acting is great. I watched it online and I am currently watching it all over again from the beginning. I literally contacted one of the Spanish channels asking them to air it, and the request is currently pending. There's so much to the series I hope and pray they will finally air it here.
