The story of the Maratha Warriors at the battle of Pavan Khind in 1660.

The story revolves around the great Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. When he is trapped inside the Panhala fort due to siege laid by Siddi Jauhar of Bijapur, he plans a mega escape plan with his 600 soldiers. When he reaches half way, enemy is in hot pursuit. His legendary warrior Baji Prabhu Deshpande with 300 men holds back an advancing enemy army of 10,000 men till King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj safely reaches the fort of Vishalgad.—mivgore

During one of Shivaji Maharaj's coronation he is spending time with Maavlas and son Sambaji at a lake stating that its not a normal lake.During the Mughal empire Shivaji Maharaj had captured most of the forts posing as the threat to the Moghul Sultanate where Badi Begum believes if it does not stop here the throne of her son will be in danger.There enters Siddhi Johar in her court who was termed as a traitor in past and convinces Begum to give him a chance to capture Shivaji Maharaj which she declines initially.After Shivaji Maharaj successfully captures more forts Begum has a second taught of allowing Siddhi Johar to capture Shivaji Maharaj as both ways it will benefit Sultante as in the battle either one will be killed.Shivaji Maharaj along with Mavalas and Bandals like Baji Prabhu Deshpande and Rayajirao Bandal are trapped at Panhala fort under siege of Siddhi Johar and his son in law Siddhi Masud for months.After Shivaji Maharaj learned that in coming days they will face shortage of food he along with Baji Prabhu and others decides to invade to Vishalgad on a rainy night by bluffing the Mughal's.Where Baji Prabhu along with Rayajirao Bandal and 300 Maratha soldiers decides to wait behind in mid journey on a lake and fight a huge army of Mughal's so that Shivaji Maharaj can reach safely at Vishalgad fort.Bajiprabhu fights till his last breathe until he convinced about Shivaji Maharaj's safety.—alex.mjacko@gmail.com
