Zedeck is on to him quickly however and Tom's source of information at the local bank soon dries up. Patty continues to play mind games with Ellen who decides to show her old boss that she too has learned a trick or two. Ellen finds out that Joe Tobin's sister Carol visited Danielle Marchetti the day she died. Not satisfied with her boss' single-minded pursuit of a conviction at the expense of those who were defrauded, she goes elsewhere with the information. In a flashforward 3 months into the future, the detectives confront Ellen about the expensive handbag they've found at the scene of the crime. Written by garykmcd

Looking for the Bank Account
13 April 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

Because Mrs. Tobin let loose that her late husband and mega-crook had a child with his mistress, the daughter becomes the focus of attention. Tessa makes regular trips to Antigua and signs papers and is given an envelope of American money. It would seem that she is so used to this arrangement that she asks no questions. Tom is down there and begins to ask questions. Eventually he talks to Tessa (the daughter) and finds her clueless, but the bank account appears to be worth the trip. Joe Tobin now has money and has become a loose cannon, but he is also made aware that Patty Hewes is aware of the off shore account. Also, Ellen is getting really tired of the DA's office and their arrogant misuse of her talents. She makes a really interesting discovery. Also, Alex, the new hire, seems to be a bit of a liability, easily tricked and manipulated.
