Dance Band
Jack Denny and his band dress for a cruise in officers' caps, blazers and white pants. They play sweet dance versions of "Don't Blame Me", "Waters of the Minnetonka", "Moonlight Madonna" and Gus Kahn's "I'll See You in my Dreams." A couple of professional dancers go through their paces to the third tune and the short is eked out by shots of an audience in evening clothes, who sometimes applaud from their ringside tables and sometimes dance.
In brief, this is another of the musical shorts turned out at the Vitaphone Studios in Brooklyn by the hundreds in this era, competent, but unless you are a great fan of dance music of the era, you'll be bored. It's certainly competent, but no more.
