On par with the original anime

I don't have high hope for any live-action adaptation, but this live-action series nails the original anime's comfy. It doesn't have any differences in the plot. It replicates every scene with real-life scenery.

Good standalone work

They changed quite a few scenes comparing to anime, with it some jokes disappeared, which is a pity, especially since at least 2 of them have setup but don't have punchline as it was in anime. Also a lot of rough cuts in places where it doesn't seem to be any point in doing them, which is really really noticeable. And the character's character is changed as well, not a bad thing. So, it is different, and it is interesting to watch even after anime.
