      Per the plot of the film, the main character (Frank Tsigas) must lose 50 pounds in 3 months to win a bet with his wife. As the lead actor playing Frank, George A. Tramountanas (in addition to writing, directing, and producing the movie) actually lost 50 pounds over the three months they shot the film. This also necessitated that the production shoot all of the Frank scenes in chronological order over the 12 weekends that they filmed.

    Great for parents with a dirty sense of humor
    I watched this with my wife and we both describe this movie as a mashup of a 90s sex comedy with a family dramedy TV series.

    In fact, the scenes dealing with marriage and career resonated with us even more than the sex humor and innuendo (though a lot of that is fun too) so take the marketing with a grain of salt. Overall it's an entertaining watch if you understand that this is a movie for grown-ups with life experience masked behind a dirty premise.
