Trivia

The Bone Collector takes a Polaroid photo and shakes it. In reality this has no effect on the development process of this type of sealed instant photo. It used to help the drying process of the the old-style, peel-apart Polaroids. You were much better off popping the newer style in your pocket to speed up development. See more »

Goofs

The full-face respirator Amelia dons to enter the CO2-filled kitchen would ensure her death. It is the type that filters particulate contamination, and very low levels of fumes. It does not provide breathable air to the wearer, as would a SCBA-type face mask like fire fighters wear. She should have an air tank strapped on, with a hose running to the mask. If the room is full of CO2, there is no air for her to breathe, and she would pass out almost immediately. See more »

We get flashbacks to Lincoln's first big success 15 years earlier. Darkening Russell Hornsby's hair does not make him look any younger.

The Bone Collector has returned to New York and he has up the ante.

Lincoln and his team find themselves trying to save three victims across New York City with Lincoln trying to decipher the clues.

Again it is Lincoln's arrogance that is causing tensions. This is a man who never watched a con movie like The Sting or read Death and the Compass. Taking all the clues on face value and never anticipating a double or triple bluff or any underlying motives.

Once again Amelia tries to get through to Lincoln aided by Detective Michael Sellitto. Lincoln might be clever but is destined to repeat the mistakes that left him as a quadriplegic.

I have been impressed by Brian O'Byrne's brooding performance as the Bone Collector. However it does stretch plausibility that so many of the incidents take place in public and it is never caught by a member of the public or by CCTV cameras.

However in its own terms, the series has found its rhythm and pace but it never attains much credibility.
