Storyline

When Jeffersonian workmen find a young female's fire-consumed body in the incinerator, the forensic pathology team soon concludes it was an institute collaborator, a young intern, and that it must be murder committed a few hours ago. Booth stay to help investigate, which lays bare several possible motives. Despite the apparent connection with the Gormogon serial killer, plausibly planted on purpose, more mundane motives among Jeffersonian staff are pursued systematically, even common crime one wouldn't expect among select scientists. Trivia

Saroyan says the body turns succinylcholine into potassium; the drug does not contain and can not be turned into potassium, but high doses cause muscles to release potassium into the blood stream. Bones says succinylcholine is one of the earliest anesthetics known; sux is not an anesthetic but an extremely fast acting muscle relaxant whose properties were first noted in the 1950s, while nitrous oxide was a surgical anesthetic by 1800. He's called Gormogon
19 July 2016 | by mitchrmpSee all my reviews

Though this episode isn't directly related to the cannibal serial killer, an intern killed at the Jeffersonian was working on the collection. They named the serial killer "Gormogon" which will be important to note in two upcoming episodes this season. I think of all the related story lines, this one is the eeriest for me - not because of the cannibal references, but because the ending of this story line is very, very tragic.

There is a scene at the end that shows up in a lot of the You Tube videos. When Brennan asks Booth if he'll betray him, he passionately answers her.

The whole Cam/Booth/sister thing was a bit amusing as well.
