This show is not for white America or for those who are 35+. If you are in that category the show is not for you. PERIODT! For those who say there's no character development, you're tripping. Mia is multi-layered ( mom, sex worker, struggling with her past experiences, feeling abandoned, absent father, the dynamic with her mom, and so much more ) but y'all do not see that. Lamont & The Duke have storylines as well but y'all want a play-by-play instead of using critical thinking skills. It's not hard to connect to characters who are struggling trying to make it in life despite their industry of choice or their circumstances. Please give Issa her flowers and stop trying to pigeonhole her to one type of genre or style of writing.
