    Some Familiar Places Here

April Bowlby (Candy from "Two And A Half Men") and Maggie Wheeler (Janice from "Friends") both have roles in this episode.

Plot In A Paragraph: When Marshall and Lily decide to buy an apartment, Lilys debt problems come to light, as Marshall struggled with the high pressure sales tactics used by the Realtor (Maggie Wheeler) Meanwhile Barney uses their potential new apartment to woo a girl (the gorgeous April Bowlby)

This episode moves things forward from a plot perspective but only Barney gets any laughs. But that is no surprise as Neil Patrick Harris always delivers as the woman mad Barney Stinson.

It's nice to see both Bowlby and Wheeler on TV again, as I likes both of them in their respective roles.

    • Trivia
Many comparisons have been made between "How I Met Your Mother" and "Friends". The realtor (Maggie Wheeler) in this episode played Janice in "Friends", a reoccurring character known for her annoying voice. Phill Lewis, who played the loan officer, played Chandler's advertising boss, Steve, in 3 episodes of "Friends".
    • Goofs
Robin claims that the highest mountain peak in Canada is Mt. Waddington. The highest peak in Canada is Mt. Logan in Yukon Territory. Mt. Waddington is only the highest peak in British Columbia, the province Robin hails from.
    • Quotes

Ted Mosby: Barney, what are you doing? You can't take this apartment from Marshall and Lily.

Barney Stinson: You think I have no morals whatsoever? I'm only pretending to live here so I can take this woman here, nail her and never have to see her again. I'm not a monster.
