Much like the popular childrens game telephone, Eva Minemars controversial short film hush explores the concepts of how simple messages can be strongly misconstrued. False perceptions lead to dangerous consequences. As the story unfolds, perhaps what initially seemed so suggestive and arousing were in fact the sounds of a brutal attack on an innocent woman. It is this duplicity, selective story-telling and limited dialogue which force the viewer to decipher the difference between truth and perceptions. The films beautifully constructed cinematography is in stark contrast to the bleak and disturbing action that provokes us to question our own ideas and morals. Canadian songstress Estheros Hush little baby lulls the audience with the haunting reminder not to say a word......
