A giant working man doing the natural wonders of New Zealand (played by the director/writer), is doing his final day at work, but the Maori tribe are not impressed after finding him filling up the water in a lake.
I found this short film very interesting, not only because it is genuinely fun and the fx are well placed, but one can also feel identified by the characters. Which is to say: Who hasn't had a discussion about a subject that is an object of our fanaticism? This is exactly what happens in this short film, as a parody of course, and pushed to the edge, taking into account, as well as homaging, classic shonen anime series. I've also enjoyed some other works from this director, such as "Bailando con el peligro", "Dedicado a nadie" among others and I totally recommend them. I was able to notice both quality and a unique point of view in all of his works. But I must say that "Otakus" is probably one of my fav ones. Thanks for sharing this with the rest of the world, Andrés!
