Moss gets stuck with drunken Margaret, who argues with him but Richmond and the hearty Jessica appear to get on. However Jen discovers that Peter's name is Peter File and, as this sounds very much like paedophile and is embarrassing, she dumps him. Written by don @ minifie-1

Did You Know?

In 2013, Miranda (2009) aired an episode called Miranda: The Dinner Party (2013) with a similar scene wherein the hostess asks everyone to behave naturally only to have them strike odd poses, and then take up even weirder ones after she re-emphasizes being normal. Sarah Hadland was at both dinner parties (as different characters). See more »

Jen strongly objects to the idea of co-workers Roy, Moss, and Richmond coming into her home in a casual setting. However, in The IT Crowd: Aunt Irma Visits, Roy and Moss come to her apartment for a "girls night" and Jen later wakes up at home to find Moss in her bathroom. See more »

Lots of awkward laughs.
21 November 2015 | by Sleepin_DragonSee all my reviews

Jen's had a lucky break, and met handsome and normal chap Pete, he's planning on taking her to Paris. To help their single friends Jen and Pete hold a dinner Party. Jen reluctantly invites Roy, Moss and Richmond as her original guests cancel. The guests are as barking mad as would be expected, but they make for an entertaining meal. Roy, Moss and Richmond are all paired off, Richmond being the happiest with his partner.

So funny, awkwardness, great script, slick delivery, great characters, it's a laugh out loud episode, the trio of girls are hilarious, Peter File too. You shouldn't be laughing, just just can't help yourself.

Loved it once again, the series keeps getting better and better. 8/10
