Watch: 'Toy Story' & Woody Get Scary in 'Annabelle' Trailer Mash-Up

Right now, audiences can see James Wan's horror spin-off prequel Annabelle, which focuses on the story of the creepy doll glimpsed in The Conjuring. The film offers some decent scares, but it's mostly a formulaic story of demon possession and supernatural events that we've seen before. So MTV decided to freshen things up by taking some footage to Toy Story and mashing it up with the teaser trailer for Annabelle. The result is a very creepy and scary Woody that will never have you look at the cowboy the same way again. It seems like a little more could be done to add to this mash-up, but it's still fun nonetheless. Watch it below! Here's the creepy trailer mash-up of Toy Story and Annabelle from MTV: Annabelle is directed by John Leonetti (the director of photography on The Conjuring making his feature directorial debut) and written by Gary Dauberman (Hell Hath No Fury,

In the 24 new images, we get our best look yet at the cast of characters for Annabelle, which tells the origin story for the same possessed doll that menaced Ed and Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring. Ward Horton and Annabelle Wallis (yes, that’s her name) topline as John and Mia, a young, expectant couple whose lives take a dark turn when their house is attacked by satanic cult members. Bearing both physical and mental scars from the attack,

Anabelle's Latest Trailer Gives Us Lots Of Ghost Lady Antics

You loved The Conjuring so here comes Annabelle, another horror movie ripped from the case files of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. You might well remember, Annabelle was the name of a cursed doll who factored into the third act of last summer's horror blockbuster. Now, she's got a movie all her own, and you can get a pretty good look at her and the demon attached to her in the trailer above. Penned by Bloodmonkey and Swamp Devil scribe Gary Dauberman, Annabelle centers on a young family whose lives take a terrible turn when an eerie home invader terrorizes them, and then bleeds to death on the creepy doll they've voluntarily brought into their home. From there, they can't escape this undead visitor who seems hell-bent on their annihilation. Annabelle Wallis stars as Mia, who is pregnant with her first child. Ward Horton plays husband John, while Eric

'Annabelle' Terrorizes a Family in 'The Conjuring' Spin-Off's Full Trailer

"Sometimes demons get attached to objects." Following a terrifying introduction to the origin story of Annabelle, the doll who made her big screen debut in The Conjuring, the full theatrical trailer for the horror spin-off has arrived. There's the average horrors you would expect, but they're heightened by the presence of a newborn baby being caught up in the terror. Plus, there's one particular creepy surprise towards the end of the trailer. James Wan is only producing this one, but John Leonetti, the director of photography on The Conjuring, seems to have his honored horror spirit (no pun intended). Watch below! Here's the second full trailer for John Leonetti's Annabelle straight from Warner Bros. Pictures: Annabelle is directed by John Leonetti (the director of photography on The Conjuring making his feature directorial debut) and written by Gary Dauberman (Hell Hath No Fury, Swamp Devil), inspired by James Wan's 2013 horror film The Conjuring.

Watch: First Teaser Trailer for 'The Conjuring' Spin-Off 'Annabelle'

"I like your dolls." Hot on the heels of yesterday's underwhelming trailer for the horror adventure Ouija, there's some much better terror on the way. Annabelle is a spin-off of James Wan's horror hit The Conjuring. The film focuses on the creepy doll featured as part of the collection of paranormal objects owned by Lorraine and Ed Warren (played by Patrick Wilson & Vera Farmiga), but this tale takes place before the events of The Conjuring, showing more of the story behind this creepy, evil doll. However, beyond what's show in the trailer, we don't know what kind of story to expect in this spin-off. Watch below! Here's the first trailer for John Leonetti's Annabelle from Warner Bros. Pictures: Annabelle is directed by John Leonetti (the director of photography on The Conjuring making his feature directorial debut) and written by Gary Dauberman (Hell Hath No Fury, Swamp Devil), inspired

Annabelle, The Conjuring spin-off, gets an October release date

The Conjuring was a huge hit last year with both horror and mainstream fans. But many felt that the marketing, which was focused on Annabelle the cursed doll, led them to believe they were going to see a different movie. Well, it looks like Annabelle’s time to shine is upon us and Warner Bros. have announced a release date of October 3rd.

Annabelle’s existence in The Conjuring is based on the true events of the Annabelle doll, a Raggedy Ann that was bought from a hobby shop and was known for leaving notes on parchment when there was no parchment around. The doll was also claimed to have attacked various people. The Conjuring director James Wan decided however to used a more sinister porcelain doll for their version of the doll.

Sitting in the director’s chair for the spin-off will be John R. Leonetti, who worked as

'The Conjuring's Annabelle Doll is Getting Her Own Movie

  • FEARnet
'The Conjuring's Annabelle Doll is Getting Her Own Movie
When you think of The Conjuring, James Wan's horror hit from last summer, most people probably think of the Annabelle doll, a terrifying doll who haunts a pair of young women. The funny thing is that the film wasn't really focused on Annabelle; she was just kind of an introduction into the weird lives of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. But Annabelle has proven herself to be beloved - and now she is getting her own movie.

Details on the script are under wraps for now, but the two lead actors have just been cast: Annabelle Wallis (The Tudors) and Ward Horton (Days of Our Lives, The Wolf of Wall Street). John Leonetti, who was the cinematographer on The Conjuring will direct Annabelle based off a script from Gary Dauberman (Bloodmonkey, Swamp Devil). Shooting is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles at the end of the month.

James Wan has been making the move from horror director to horror producer. He came up with the story and produced Demonic, which should see the light of day in 2104, and it’s been revealed that he’s getting behind a new horror project at New Line.

Titled Crawlspace, the story follows “a family that moves into a new house and immediately falls prey to strange occurrences. But what seems like a traditional supernatural thriller gets twisty when the rug is pulled from under both the family and the audience.”

According to THR, Phil Claydon (Vampire Killers) will direct the movie and the screenplay has been written by Gary Dauberman (Swamp Devil). New Line is hoping to reproduce the success they had with The Conjuring and we wouldn’t be surprised to see James Wan involved in more horror projects at New Line if Crawlspace does well.

This is another early announcement,
