Storyline

Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 20 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant Quorra, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. Meanwhile, the malevolent program CLU, who dominates the digital world, plans to invade the real world and will stop at nothing to prevent their escape. Written by ZootCatchy

Goofs

When Sam bends down to pick up the quarter after it falls out of the coin return slot of the TRON video game, we see the side view of the cabinet for the "Discs of TRON" video game, which was the sequel for the original TRON video game. Beneath the logo for Discs of TRON, the Bally/Midway logo is seen, instead of the ENCOM logo, which was the in-movie distributor of the TRON video game. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Kevin Flynn: The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day...
7 Year Old Sam Flynn: You got in.
Kevin Flynn: That's right, man. I got in.

Love this movie and it's soundtrack

Great great movie always get chills from the music and when he first uses the bike. Love the atmosphere of Sam Flynn's life and how much love he has for his father at the end of the movie. Fantastic message in the movie where we as people think things are important in our life such as work or possessions but nothing is more important then family 👍.
