The Correct Viewing Order For Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Based on what we’re hearing from Disney, the seventh and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, now on Disney Plus, will be with us on February 17th, 2020. One of the more challenging aspects of the animated series, though, is that you won’t get a chronological experience by just following the released episode order. Thankfully, then, we now have a correct viewing order courtesy of the official Star Wars site, which tells us all you need to know to catch up on The Clone Wars before its return.

The Clone Wars bridges the gap between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, providing a significant level of detail for anyone wondering what was going on in between the two prequel movies. When aired, episodes could often be bundled together as arcs, linked by one-off episodes that might explore a different part of the galaxy adjacent

Star Wars Resistance Season 1 Episode 18 Review – ‘The Disappeared’

Ricky Church reviews the eighteenth episode of Star Wars Resistance

As we build towards the season finale of Star Wars Resistance, its latest episode was fairly good but mostly involved a lot of set-up for the final couple episodes. ‘The Disappeared’ increased the threat of the First Order and their hold on the Colossus even as Kaz tried to undermine them as best he could. It brought in quite a few of the series’ supporting characters while having Kaz take the initiative in finding out where some of the Colossus’ residents had gone due to the Stormtroopers. Overall, ‘The Disappeared’ was another good installment for the series.

The Fist Order’s presence on the Colossus has grown tremendously over the last few weeks and it seems to have finally hit a tipping out in ‘The Disappeared’ as Commander Pyre and his Stormtroopers aren’t quite interested in keeping up appearances any longer.

Star Wars Resistance Episode 18 Review: The Disappeared

Star Wars Resistance continues more table-setting plotting, but at least this episode sets up for the endgame.

Games

This Star Wars Resistance review contains spoilers.

Star Wars Resistance Episode 18

Star Wars is anything but subtle, but with so many people out there who fail to grasp the parallels, “The Disappeared” has Stormtroopers bursting into taverns and forcing them to display very ominous, very Nazi-like military propaganda on the counter.

It’s red and glowing, depicting three “proud” First Order soldiers standing in a row, with the clarion call to others to join, to be a part of something bigger. You really can’t get more clear than that. The only thing that Star Wars Resistance failed to do was introduce these kinds of visuals earlier, to really get the sense of the First Order’s slowly overpowering, suffocating, dangerous presence.

The background stuff is finally starting become the foreground stuff.

Frightfest 2018: 10 Questions with Johnny Kevorkian of ‘Await Further Instructions’

What was it about Gavin Williams’s script for Await Further Instructions you liked so much, and what did you add to make it more personal to you?

Well, when I first read the script I thought: “How the hell am I going to make this!” It was like nothing I had ever seen before. I knew it was going to be a massive challenge in every way possible. Overall, this was a very unusual script and that also appealed to me. My main addition to the script was to push it in a much darker and serious tone overall, which is more my style of filmmaking. I’m pleased that I managed to retain the dark humour at the start but then move into a different and much more serious realm as things start getting nastier for the family.

God’S Own Country producer Jack Tarling thought of you
