After seven episodes of Betty's whining, one starts to get mighty fed up with the woman. I could hardly believe this episode was going to focus, yet again, about Betty's endless self-pitying and her victims presented as smug and mean, but it was... I guess a clear sign that this is a post #meToo product, concocted by women writers and directors. I am not a misogynist, in fact I am a woman myself, but I have enough of seeing female characters glorified just because of their sex.
Betty's shrink, clearly not a good one, may call her strong and able to cope under tremendous pressure, but I would call her more self-involved, shallow, vulgar, entitled and despicable.
