On his return he claims that all is well but the perceptive Joey knows better and gets out of him the fact that he has a heart condition. Love is only the match that lights the flame.

Granddad is feeling out of the loop, he has a fall, but is suffering more so with loneliness. Freddie has had a warning from The Doctor, and Julie has started divorce proceedings. A new neighbour arrives on the Street.

I had no idea that the wonderful Rita Tushingham was ever in Bread, a truly wonderful actress. You can only imagine what someone would think moving next door to The Boswells.

The names Nellie has for Lilo Lill are hilarious, Shameful Knickers, brilliant. Nice to see more of Martina, other than just being behind that counter, very good actress, strong character, and a very pretty woman.

A great episode for Freddie, he's always been a profound character, but there is more depth to him than I remember,

Very good. 8/10
