Superb Television on So Many Levels
2 July 2019 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

There's pure adventure, danger, politics, fear, on and on. This is a great episode, from the rescue of Renee to the hostage situation in the White House. We have perpetual distrust of Jack who apparently would need to give everyone a million dollars tax free in order to be thought highly of. In this fictional world, do any of the population know about his one day exploits that have actually prevented the deaths of millions and takeovers by foreign powers? That clown Senator that is prosecuting him had his life saved by Jack but he is the Javert to Jack. Also, there are so many egos around that have to be sated, it's a wonder anything productive gets done. I have a new dislike. The President's daughter is an ingrate and so full of herself I can hardly stand to listen to her.
