Mugabe

The movie was something else. First of all the character which played the role of RGM is not ideal. Then the deepest concern is on the negative portrayal of RGM throughout the movie. RGM in his life was someone driven by the sense of Pan Africanism. He had every African at heart. He cracked jokes oftentimes. He was one outstanding leader and there are remarkable things he did. But in the movie all it does is portray him negatively. No wonder why it runs through several decades up to the coup and never at any given time presents him as a president. The writers also did this what I would like to call dishonor the late ex and former president which is a concern as to they wait for someone to die and the write negative things about them.

I gave the movie a 1/10 for its lack of the African punch it should have carried. It's only a speedy plot riding through a bumpy negative path up to the end.
