During one of his jumps forward, Teddy remarks on how Leanne hasn't aged, asking if she's got a portrait up in the attic. This is a reference to Oscar Wilde's 1890 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, in which a man sells his soul so that his portrait will age while he remains young.

Best Aussie rom-com in a long while

Wasn't sure what to expect of the quality of this film given Australia's pretty poor track record when it comes to rom-com's, but this one is a stand out. The film starts out strong, admittedly it stalls a little with repetitiveness in the middle, but comes home with a bang. Really enjoyable, very funny.
