Pieter De Jonge can't hide from his ma that he's better at arm-wrestling then her Asian cop partner Bai, but firmly refuses using the jersey his father sent in another attempt to lure him back to football (soccer). Frustrated, he focuses on parkour training, even considering master Soufian Alaoui's dare to prepare for jumping off the Black Building. Flo stakes out neighbor boy Pieter. Ethnic Moroccan troublesome knave Basim shakes off cousin Kenza Benali -after pulling an embarrassing 'prank' with non-amused police- to join Flo. They watch acrobatic Pieter leave his room by parkour to meet master Soufian on the roof.

Mentor Soufian Alaoui finally gets Pieter De Jonge to train for dangerous jumps at height for the prestigious Black Building dive. It goes well, but as his cop ma Dorien is alerted by scared neighborhood 'granny' and they scream at the boys, Pieter jumps to a roof and accidentally knocks over some old tiles, one of which hurts the crone, but they aren't recognized. Her Asian cop partner Bai releases Kenza who was taken to the precinct routinely by beat cops lacking mandatory ID as Basim hid her purse to get rid of off the guard dog drag. Flo got him to help photograph and identify 'thief' Pieter's parkour mentor, and ask around about ex-juvenile-con Soufian Alaoui in exchange for doing a school assignment and flattering his rap. Pieter can't come clean about his acrobatic antics as Dorien goes on about those 'rotten parkour thugs'.

Pieter decides to give up parkour after he tile incident, refusing to continue training with Soufian who counts on his talented charge and finds his father arrested. Flo rids Basim from nagging cousin Kenza for a day if he promises to stop getting her into trouble with his 'pranks'. Basim discovers on Internet Soufian's juvenile record and confront Pieter at homes as 'guilty by association'. He throws them out and resorts to parkour to shake them off and chase a purse snatcher, but the fiends causes him to make a bad fall, convincing Flo and Basim that he's the criminal.

Pieter tries in vain to charm Basim and Flo out of turning him in as mugging suspect at the precinct, but manages to 'borrow' Basim's smartphone with the only evidence. Pieter returns it there as if found while the pair are stunned to learn his mother Dorien is the duty cop, so they leave feeling beaten. Pieter still refuses to resume his parkour training with Soufian, who also counts on him to find out which 'rotten cop' is after them and fears his paroled father's arrested spells a long jail term and find out by accident. Basim calls a time-out for bulldog Flo.

Pieter's father won't talk about anything but football, so Pieter angrily leaves early. Soufian confronts Pieter with hiding his mother being a cop, calling him a coward lowlife. Basim resists Flo's pleas and other attempts to resume stalking Pieter to unmask him as alleged masked thief, even after they see Bai investigate another case where Flo was mugged, but when Kenza overhears them claiming just in time to stop their childish plan he feels obliged to defend it as brilliant. Soufian is duly worried to see Pieter sneak into the Black Building and prepare to prove he no coward by jumping as second man ever, without finishing the training.

Pieter and Soufian, who catches him just before he would fall off, make up. Pieter bitterly returns from father's home and is forced to recall the dark family drama about Isa. Kenza is convinced to allow, no join Basim in Flo's latest plan, to act as head-covered target for alleged thief Pieter. In fact he passes her thoughtless, sees the real fiend and gives parkour chase, climbing the Black Building to gain oversight, and jumping it to continue the chase.

Pieter brilliantly makes the record jump, chasing and catching the real purse thief, whom he leaves cuffed for the police. Basim records it on his cellphone, Pieter deletes the post but it's already going locally 'viral'. Pieter enjoys a cozy TV evening with mother Doren, who is delighted she could thus snatch the fiend, unaware the hero is her son. Near her, he can't tell Soufian, who feels stood up, he already jumped the Black Building. Kenza makes up with Basim and Flo, who barely apologizes and broods on a plan to exploit Pieter's parkour excellence.

Pieter continues his Hoodie work, subtly arranging an adult pickpocket to be caught and citizen-arrested, but duly opposes Flo's blunt presumption she and 'superheroes encyclopedia' Basim would make his ideal sidekick team, although their very presence sabotages catching a locker-room thief, but she blackmails him by threatening to expose him after Pieter refuses to let Basim 'style' and post his heroic actions, which Kenza also finds out about. Dorien sees a post of the citizen arrest, but fails to recognize Pieter and rants that parkours should never become a 'bad example' for the public at large. Pieter is determined to catch another local thief.

Soufian is delighted seeing Pieter's jump from the Blakc Building and insists to continue his parkours training. Pieter gears the attention pushy Flo tried to force upon him, which will only complicate his vigilante efforts. Kenza wanst to hekp fight crime in the hood, so decvdiesd to join and counsel Flo and Basim te helpen. Kenza inspires Flo to talk Pieter into forming a team Hoodie with the trio.

Pieter reluctantly joins the Hoodie-plan, despite getting irritated by imp Flo's pushy phone calls. While Basim and Flor get a day off class to work on their school project, which they spend installing a 'honk' (den) for team Hoodie, Kenza replaces Basim's flashy costume design with a comfortable, dark alternative to Pieter's taste, yet during the fitting sessions they are embarrasses. To his relief, his team swears on oath to help and never expose him, but wearing it to watch himself in the mirror while his mother enters unannounced may do that anyhow.

Team Hoodie's first mission starts badly, with some technical trouble and mainly due to the HQ backup trio bickering rather then properly monitoring Pieter and his target, local robber 'Roodkapje ''Rad Riding Hood'). Hoodie manages to lock him in at the latest senior victim home by removing the front door know, but decides against escaping by roof to prevent cop Bai being knocked down by the fiend. Alas his mother Dorien, his partner, arrives just in time to keep wrong suspect Hoodie at gunpoint.

The first team mission being a near-disaster, team members consider giving up. Hoodie had to bluff to get away as Dorien wouldn't shoot, but Pieter is worried about his mother's ranting at the vigilante. Nevertheless Pieter decides to give it another go, 'Roodkapje' also having escaped: they all resume normal daily school life but keep ready in the evening from the den, realizing the fiend systematically evaded the police but operating at the end of cop patrol PM shifts. However team Hoodie isn't good enough at observation and orientation in the evening.

Kenza gives Pieter an escape at home, so he can hunt robber Roodkapje again, who is away before the police arrives despite an anonymous call from Kenza. Pieter gives Chase and corners the fiend behind a van, so he gets arrested by the police. The team celebrates and Pieter contacts Soufian's girlfriend Morena. Basim and Kenza are shocked to see the next evening Roodkapje is active again.

The team is shocked to find robber Roodkapje had to be release for lack of proof and blame each-other, considering to break apart. Basim and Kenza find out how the robber marks his future marks and realize that gives them an advantage. Kenza mediates to prevent bossy Flo and Pieter drifting too far apart, mending the team formula. It works to corner Roodkapje again, he even gets wounded, but escapes, forcing Pieter to take big risks too, while his mother finds out he only pretended to visit his father.

Roodkapje escapes Hoodie again by daring jump from the roof, despite his vulnerable ankle. Pieter bitterly finds mother Dorien turns on Hoodie again despite admitting his good intentions. To keep his cover, Pieter reluctantly resumes visiting his macho, parkours-hostile father, who surprisingly sympathizes with brave Hoodie, while smooth liar Basim convinces Kenza's father they discussed compulsory book Lord of the Flies. The team is shocked to find that while their Roodkapje is in police custody, anther strikes in the same attire, actually the Redkets gang uniform.

Pieter wrestles on with conflicting, parkour band and family loyalties. He realizes the danger hearing thoughtless Flo sent pushover Basim to look for the ankle-limping robber in the street gangs hangout 'the Pit'. Indeed he's just in time to drop Soufian's name to the Redkets and get clueless Basim out. Pieter keeps doubting whether the escaped robber must know parkour, yet feels that's diametrically opposed to the sport's helpful ethos. Pieter keeps looking at their feet, including mentor Soufian, who convinces Pieter of his innocence by demonstrating an ankle-straining jump to rookies before turning over the training to Pieter, actually aching to nurse his discretely bleeding ankle. Pieter's artistic talents make up for Kenza's pitiful inability to tell even the smallest white lie.

After promising to make more time once he has raised her mother's rent, Soufian is mad that his girl Morena admires Hoodie, supposing it's him, hence resolves to eliminate his 'rival'. Basim finds Kenza a near-hopeless lying pupil, especially facing her father, his uncle Nabil. Dorien asks Hoodie by chat to turn himself in so he can testify against Roodkapje, who otherwise can't be convicted. The fiend rejoins Soufian's Redkets who post a depressing threat. Desillusioned, after talking clueless to PK mentor Soufian, Pieter resolves to come clean to mother Dorien, but her unsuspecting reservations about loosing a vigilante inspires Hoodie to appeal on Internet to turn in to his team any Redkets trace. The thugs instantly threaten they'll find and smash Hoodie.

Kenza must learn to (white) lie to her father, with cues from Basim, as the team needs them both. returning from a compulsory visit to his surprisingly understanding and easy father, Hoodie responds to an anonymous Roodkapje alert and panics feeling trapped by six Redkets cornering him accruing baseball bats, but Kenza spots a way out and the police arrive, albeit late. Pieter is flattered by attention from Morena, who thinks he must be Hoodie as Soufian firmly denied to her. Just after Basim reluctantly shuts down the Internet alert, Pieter changes his mind and the Redkets threaten the team den.

Pieter continues his search to identify a Redket among the street boys, including fellow parkour athletes. Basim and Flo's Pay-it-Forward school assignment is due today, but lacks an ending without exposing Hoodie. Morena flirts with shy, lonely Pieter and ends up getting to kiss him. Madly jealous, Flo makes Basim expose Pieter by entering the assignment. Soufian sees the kiss and orders his Redket to eliminate his unwitting rival.

Realizing Pieter isn't committed to her 'rival' Morena, Flo regrets exposing Pieter and desperately conspires with Basim and duly furious Kenza to distract and trick their teacher to save Hoodie by intercepting their school assignment, just in time, and take a failing grade with a lame alternative. Soufian seeks revenge on Pieter for kissing Morena, hence agrees to the Redkets trapping Hoodie to be beaten up in an abandoned building.

Only Basim is free to follow and keep an eye on Hoodie, but he's terrified and feels thus letting the team down, shivering when confronted by a Redket bully. Flo is shattered realizing she develops romantic feelings for Pieter and wants him protected rather then optimizing Hoodie, but after he is forced to confront and knock-down a Redket, Kenza talks him out of leaving the fiend cuffed for the police to collect and duly directs him to shadowing to find the Redkets den, which requires a discrete partner, but Kenza is expected home and Flo scared of her feelings.

When Kenza finally returns home, Flo is forced to stop running away from her feelings for shy Pieter and spend time with him staking out the Redkets den, which goes well as he confides missing his accident-killed sister Isa(bella). Basim feels an utter loser, until he gets and executes with Kenza a brilliant idea: instead of returning Flo's damaged cellphone, he lures the Redkets to steal it from him, having installed a tracer program. Resting in the team Hoodie den, Pieter overhears unwitting Basim rap an uncomfortable truth: Flo made him compromise Hoodie and Pieter for their school project.

When Hoodie really needs their help, Kenza uses Basim's liar tricks on their family to get out 'sick'. Despite knowing about Flo's traitory, Pieter continues his vigilante work, demanding Kenza to take over control from Flo, who is an emotional mess anyhow. Seconded on the field by shivering Basim to stake out the Redkets den, Pieter is shattered to discover the gang leader in none other then his parkour mentor. Pieter bitterly confronts in private Soufian, who admits but scolds Pieter is as bad for stealing his girl Morena and doesn't realize how desperate life in the ghetto is.

Pieter is shattered by Soufian's deceit and seeks solace from Morena, but she already knew he's a Redket and snaps they should stand by their mate. Just when Basim is broke again, he secretly discovers her parkour videos earn a pretty penny. Flo childishly resolves to break up with Pieter not to appear dumped as Kenza says she can't fix the broken trust, but finding Pieter in panic near tears promises him unconditional support like his late sister.

Pieter is near despair, torn between loyalties and doubting if even Hoodie can handle his mentor and former best late Soufian. Depressed he visits his football-obsessed father, who makes him practice with half-blood stepbrother Ezra. Kenza gets self-absorbed Flo to realize that Pieter's insecurity about Soufian is the team's pressing priority. Basim invests some of his Internet earnings in Bluetooth for the team, but is jealously bitter now Flo openly declares her relationship with Pieter special. The Redkets mug Ezra's mother Fajah. Pieter finds his team deliberately didn't field Hoodie fearing for his safety, but comes up with a new team oath to handle Soufian together, and recruit Ezra.

Pieter still acts too shy to act at father Willem's home, but having heard stepbrother Ezra plans to revenge his mother with football mates, decides to recruit him. Team Hoodie's reluctance to recruit reinforcements gives way as Pieter explains they will be only allies on the field, not initiated in Hoodie's secret, and indeed the soccer trio agrees to join forces against the Redkets. Pieter must lie even more to his families. Duly disregarding emotionally fickle Flo's jealousy, Kenza asks Pieter in private about anything he knows that may help tackle Soufian. Basim proudly presents his new Bluetooth equipment and accepts Flo's lies he's still her BFF, but Pieter finds Soufian's video record the roof tile hitting crone Marilijn is going viral.

The video posted by Soufian, showing Hoodie accidentally causing a tile to hit crone Marlijn, turns the whole neighborhood against him, including Pieter's ma, her cop partner Bai and Ezra's football team. Kenza finds out about Basim's Internet income spent on equipment for the team but still demands he comes clean to the team. Airhead Flo still pretends to Kenza she can control Pieter but needs to turn to Basim, who shivers when Pieter drags him along to the Redkets' Pit where he paints the Hoodie tag, which only stirs hostility, while even a Vrijbeek cyclist whose bike Hoodie prevents being stolen scolds the disgraced vigilante.

Pieter is utterly depressed as the locals all seems turned against him, even whom he rescued. The team is deeply divided, with Flo blaming Pieter's impatience and Basim's failure to resist being dragged along at the provocative tagging in the Redkets den. Found out returning home late, Kenza lies big time to her father, pretending she finally has a boyfriend. Even cop partner Bai isn't happy with Dorien's plan to trap Hoodie by falsely reporting Redkets involvement in a real fire, so as to prove he reacts to the police radio.

Pieter sees no way out, Hoodie having lost all public support over the Marlien incident. Kenza painstakingly convinces Flo to try talking in to him, but that only yields a moment of platonic intimacy and a stolen kiss. Basim sulks as Kenza made him admit his income despite in being invested in team Hoodie. Pieter decides to attempt rescuing the baby from the fire without his Hoodie suit, realizing only inside it's a trap set by his ma. Only parkour got him in and out on time, unidentified, with some help from Kenza despite Flo's hysteria.

After stewing in public disapproval of Hoodie, Pieter is ready to make peace with Soufian almost at every cost. He meets common girl friend Morena, who assures him the Redkets threat will cease if Hoodie disappears as well, enough loot having been made for Souf's rent, so the deal is struck. Kenza pretends being busy, but Flo sees through it and after playing a mean prank on Basim she admits, first to herself, being in the team makes them cool. When Morena reports to Soufian, she smells a rat and he admits he didn't dare tell her he still plans a 'last big one', she leaves appalled to be coldly used. When Pieter announces his decision and the hope to build up a relationship wit Morena, Flo acts relieved the stolen, kiss was meaningless, but actually terribly jealous, yet she still can only daydream about showing her crush on the gentle hottie.

Given public disapproval of Hoodie, his sidekicks realize Pieter must buy peace with the Redkets from Soufian by offering to cease his vigilante actions instead, hence disband his team. Even Kenza admits returning to normal life will feel boring, yet none sees a way out. Pieter packs up his Hoodie suit and goes to Soufian to struck the peace deal, but having entered by parkour trough the window spots his while board of planning for a next Redkets strikes, sneaks out and tells his mates the team must reemerge to counter that, delighting all, only messed-up Flo is somehow disappointed Pieter isn't smitten with her as in her next daydream. Forensics about Hoodie teach the police little, but Bai's joke that could even fit her own son makes Dorien look through Pieter's room and find something hidden.

Pieter decides against shutting down team Hoodie and shows them why: Souf's bedroom notice board is full with notes about every home in the neighborhood, when they are likely out so robbery is easy. This means Soufian is a liar, never was a true friend and must be stopped. Dorien failed to find evidence in Pieter's room, so she and Bai remain clueless. Kenza resents risking to get involved in a 'personal vendetta', but studies Soufian's board and works out the only likely victim for the next day, her own neighbor across the street. Basim uneasily realizes Flo has feelings for Pieter, whom he offers continuous Internet income. Soufians plans being too sketchy, Pieter resolves to meet his false mentor to pretend renewing their friendship, still pretending he gave up Hoodie, but Soufian seems uninterested.

Pieter tries to regain Soufian's confidence, even if that requires pretending Flo is his girl and he wants to join the Redkets. Basim 'pranks back' Kenza by faking a Redket appearance at the neighbor's home she's watching, but no real one seems around, while her kindly fuzzing father Nabil distracts her. Soufian is still suspicious, looking around shifty, and tests Pieter's 'gang loyalty' , record on his smartphone him demonstrating his parkour purse snatcher skills, which terrifies the backup team.

Pieter spares no effort to reconnect with Soufian, who enjoys having gentle parkour pupil 'Blankito' back, they even pull a knavish prank together. Pieter is presented to TJ, a Redket he tackled as Hoodie, who now helps Soufian test him again, performing a second wallet theft, so he must dump it for real after Souf got the cash, but Pieter calls Kenza to retrieve it for the unsuspecting owner. The backup team is confused about Pieter using Flo as fake lover to cover up his calls with them, for which is code is being devised, albeit head over heels. Kenza works out Soufians board isn't so much about homes but people, deducting the next victim. Pieter finally gets confirmation the Redkets were never disbanded and plan another robbery, which he may be part of, but lingering friendship for gang leader Soufian and the rush of the parkour action are actually tempting.

Having lost contact with Pieter, his teammates Basim and Flo discuss the risk he may have gone bad joining the Redkets for real. Soufian is convinced his 'Blankito' is actually did, so he divulges the trick is not stealing cash but cards and cashing only small, barely noticeable amounts. Kenza didn't find the wallet Pieter stole in the trash but watches Redket TJ put it back in the owner's pocket, ironically being accused of trying to steal it herself, yet baffles the man by correcting his poor Dutch. Pieter returns to the HQ, urging the must execute his plan stat, a single occasion to deal with all the Redkets.

Pieter plays his part in the Redkets plan to each steal a wallet from someone attending the neighborhood festival, collected and used by Soufian, who redistributes them to be slipped back to the unsuspecting owners. Team Hoodie observes and when Bas's mother Fadma nearly discovers her wallet missing to buy a pie before Pieter can return it, Bas jumps in and rewards himself with free pie. The police is already there to guard the party, but before they can be alerted to arrest all Redkets red-handed, Kenza's sighing this means there will be no more need for Team Hoodie, Flo panics as that would mean no more excuse to be around Pieter and sabotages the plan. Soufian finds out Pieter faked his conversion and both parkour experts as well as the other Redkets escape.

The team is in shock after their failure to arrest the Redkets. Terwijl Kenza en Pieter and Kenza doubt themselves, but Basim gets Flo to admit she sabotaged Hoodie, and makes her admit she's in love with Pieter. Soufian cues Bai and Dorien to follow Basim and Flo to the Hoodie-honk, where they are technically squatting and found with Hoodie-stuff. Pieter is at his pa's, grumpily refusing the join them in a local demonstration against Hoodie, whom Fajah defends to his surprise.

Pieter agrees to come to dinner with his father's family and act appreciative, as price for step-ma Fajah not disclosing she guessed he's Hoodie. Kenza wrongly suspects Basim of leading Souf to the team honk, but his masterly lies prevented him and Flo being actually arrested rather then release as soon as their mothers arrived. Flo denies not very convincingly to have any link with Hoodie when question in the precinct Dorien, but doesn't realize until Basim calls that the gale is up if his laptop charger, which she took with her, is found during the impending home search.

While his depressed team mates fear it's the end for Hoodie, clever liar Basim manages to pretend he doesn't know the laptop found in the den, start it unnoticed and clears the complete memory, sacrificing his rap recording. he bitterly blames Kenza, whom the family still presumes a flawless example for him. After his dinner at father's, Pieter surprises Flo with a visit who finally gathered the courage in the triumphant mood to declare her love for him, but Pieter duly scolds her selfish scum for sabotaging the entire festival operation plan. Returning home, Pieter is relieved that cop mother Dorien ignores his Hoodie identity, even praises him for refusing to tip off mates with her police information. Yet Pieter's unpleasantly surprised by an 'unknown' visitor she presents him: Soufian.

Pieter is startled that Soufian got himself invited by his mother Dorien as 'poor boy struggling to pay rent', most suspicious when Souf admits defeat, claims having lost all, cash, gang and mates, yet promising to leave Vrijbeek in peace, yet takes some pity on Soufian and agrees to do parkour together again. Flo is surprised how easily her ma lifts deserved grounding and even Kenza forgives her selfish stupidity. Basim is delighted his ma believes his lies and plans no huge punishment, so he relents on resenting innocent-seeming Kenza and revels in this 'triumph in defeat'.

Pieter enjoys spending time again with parkour buddy Soufian, whose family with two kid brotehrs, about to be evicted for unpaid rent, invites Pieter cordially to dinner. Pieter believes Soufian wants to stay out of crime and wants to help them to rause the money. Flo writes and hand-delivers to his mail box a letter declaring her love for Pieter with apologies, but he doesne't get round to read it. Kenza makes the police belive the owner reopened the den, so the team can us eit again. Pieter put to the team his new plan: rescuing Soufian's family using Basim's Hoodie video proceeds.

Pieter overcomes Basim and Kenza's doubt if Soufian deserves their financial help. Flo is on board, hoping to win Pieter's gratitude. Basim already spent part of the Internat proceeds, so the team splits in to boys versus girls to find extra sums. Flo and Kenzadevise practical, fashionable head scarves. Basim and Pieter plan a new Hoodie-video.

Basim's elaborate dummy alibi makes him fail to film Pieter's first balcony parkour demo for the video for sale, but Basim is confident his winning streak will continue, even if no kitten passes to be rescued, and indeed Pieter can snatch back crone Marlijn's stolen handbag. Kenza's fashionable-athletic headscarves sell well, but airhead Flo's kicking demonstration causes damage wiping out their proceeds. Pieter's rescue video sells well, but may also put the police back on resurrected Hoodie's trail. Basim' return home in a triumphant mood thoughtlessly betrays to his mother having sneaked out during grounding, faking illness.

Team Hoodie fears the police will learn everything from busted Basim, but he brilliantly avoids so during interrogation by Dorien, pretends to have lost his smartphone and brings the ultimate sacrifice: clearing it completely. Flo motivates Kenza to lie to the police Basim was with them at home, but Dorien checks that alibi immediately, so Flor must cue her mother to lie, which she does but also imposes proper grounding for. Pieter focuse only on raising the cash for Soufian, whom he fears, after another surprise home visit, to go astray as the rent is due. The teammates take objection to Pieter demanding they stop thinking about themselves, feeling Pieter is the one who didn't have to make sacrifices.

Kenza and Flo helped Basim to a dubious alibi. As it's noticed out cops Bai and Dorien are on Basim's trail, he and Kenza must avoid being seen entering the den. Pieter as desperate to borrow cash for Soufian's rent, but father Willem only sneers he's not nearly as independent as his late sister Isa, and Dorien's praise for trying to help out a mate vaporizes when Pieter suggest to use their holiday savings. So Pieter gets Flo to stand guard as he 'borrows' it until Basim's Internet revenue comes through, but he gets caught with his hand in the savings jar as it got dropped when Dorien returns early.

Pieter is caught by Dorien, who praises his intentions but suggests Soufian needs a long-term interest, for next rent terms. Pieter gets a loan offer from his father and decides instead to ask for a job on trial basis for Soufian, who accepts elated. Dorien realizes from something Pieter said thoughtlessly that Basim is a graffiti artist. Basim gets a room search, which yields the spray cans, a rare snap unlikely to be owned by anyone else in the neighborhood. Floand Kenza bitterly blame Pieter and turn on him until he 'fixes it'.

Basim is badly cornered and getting desperate during police questioning, but fake 'parental' call from Kenza motivates him to stall.
