A ghost movie without the needed tension and atmosphere. Couldn't even land simple jump scares.
Decent last half hour.
First hour should have been cut, full of character motivations and decisions that made very little sense.
Could have been avoided by the main character telling other characters "I've bought a house" at the start of the film and then introducing other characters after and around that.
Decent performance from Neve Macintosh. Surprisingly poor one from Paul Barber.
Still I've seen worse, just disappointed. Susan hill is a good writer and this did have wasted potential.
