When Paula's high-school boyfriend returns to town during a rough week just before Christmas, she wonders what her life would have been like if she stayed with him.

Paula and her family are struggling with bills a week before Christmas. She falls down a laundry chute which leads her to another life in which her husband is her wealthy ex-boyfriend. Paula soon realizes that she wants nothing more for Christmas but to return to her former life.—Anonymous
