Storyline

Stella (Kate Trotter) asks Jane (Teresa Pavlinek) to come to a meeting of 'The Nellie McClung Club", a monthly gathering of the most high powered women in the city. Susan (Patricia Zentilli) explains that this is a huge honour and that Jane is lucky to be given access to this illustrious inner circle. But, why wouldn't Stella pick her? Susan's convinced that Stella thinks she's dumb. Jane goes with Stella to the "meeting", only to find herself in "Eyes Wide Shut" for successful, ruthless women in their fifties. Jane tells Stella what she really thinks of her social circle that she finds it a bit terrifying and surprisingly, Stella agrees. She has grown tired of her friends; she wants to hang out with Jane. Cary (Hardee T. Lineham) warns her against getting too close to Stella but Jane jumps right in. After squash games, horseback riding and all-night phone calls, Jane realizes she can't handle this new "friendship" with her boss. Susan suggests that Jane gently dump Stella telling her...
