Beginning Part l of three crossover episodes....
Part l..Chicago Fire S8 ep4
Part ll...Chicago Med played in season 5 ep4
Part Ill...Concludes in Chicago Pd..S7 ep4
I was so excited & looking forward to the crossover episodes (being an avid watcher of the Chicago franchise), especially Chicago Pd & Chicago Fire) I have really had a chance to catch-up with Chicago Med. As the 1st episode of the 3 part crossover played out, and the victims of the infection outbreak began to pile-up in the hospital; why wasn't the hospital staff properly masked and covered up in the correct attire? I mean we are now living with covid and masks have become an essential requirement by our government. Why then couldn't the researchers for the franchise know the correct procedures in a hospital? It's quite shocking to see the staff walking around with only protective gloves on, and no facial protection or garments on at all in the ICU!!! Isn't that a most basic requirement, that even a 1st year intern' would know! I mean really, one of the female cast had full make-up on, and her hair was all over the place. The senior resident wore no facial or body protection, even when it had been diagnosed to be infectious and possibly contagious with an unknown strand; the staff still hadn't been fully kitted-up!
For an established and successful well written series as the Chicago franchise is, why was this such an important and imperative over-sight? It was a distraction and a disappointment to the lll part episode. Otherwise, an enjoyable and an informed experience watching all lll episodes back-back.
Well done to all of the cast for making these crossover episodes! All lll series are so exciting and authentic!!!
I know I don't want them to end!!! Best shows on Tv...
Keep up the good work....🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Scary times . . .

This episode is a 3-parter about a nasty epidemic -- flesh-eating baddie that has the firefighters, medics and cops in a tizzy. Concluded in Part II in Chicago Med Season 4 and Part III in Chicago PD in Season 7.
For me, way cool to see the football jersey in the opening moments: Trubisky on Casey's jersey. Cousin Mitch made it to the majors, alright.

Great, until.....

You have absolutely no idea how this will pan out. Let's be clear folks, you just spent money on a season. A season where you thought you will watch an episode and that flows in to the next episode and so on, the cumulative effect being you experience the story the writers wanted to tell.
Except that is not what you get with this episode, no, with this one, you get the fantastic start then your lurched in to a new story with absolutely no idea what just happened in the last one.
A 5 Min Google later and you discover that not only is the season you thought you purchased incomplete, but you will have to buy not just one additional episode from a different series, but two. It's essentially a money making racket.
Don't watch this one unless you plan on spending more cash on C med and C PD.
