Storyline

It's the December holiday season, and there is an unexpected Vice-President opening at Manhattan-based Bennett and Swanson Property Developers. When Vanessa up and quits, it later learned by her staff that she was poached by another firm. The hard-nosed managing partner, Jane Bennett, has to struggle in the short term to reassign Vanessa's responsibilities, especially important as the firm is being considered for what would be their most lucrative contract, this one with the Dorothy Jenson Foundation for twelve recreation facilities around the city. A successful attempt at inclusion

I can imagine that this film may not appeal to the majority of Hallmark's viewership, but as a person who celebrates both Hanukkah and Christmas, it was really nice to feel represented in the Hallmark holiday countdown that I watch every year. The storyline was simple but cute and Hallmark presented Hanukkah tastefully and appropriately. Storyline aside, the actors were good and their chemistry believable, making the movie one of the better Hallmark films I've seen this season. Well-done!
