During the chaos of planning a Christmas festival and vying for the Top Winter Lodge Award, an innkeeper rekindles her love of music as well as her love for her former music partner.
This is a pretty average story with no real highs or lows. I stayed with it hoping for more singing. The two do a pretty nice job on one song, but it also didn't bowl me over. A day later, I'm not still carrying the tune around in my head as in some cases.
Chaley Rose and Rome Flynn have a natural familiarity that you'd expect from old flames. I was surprised by how little animosity there was given their breakup. Chiara Zanni plays an interesting Susie. Some people will hate her, but I enjoyed her. Some of my reviews rave about "quirky" characters. I've always liked Teryl Rothery in her supporting roles, but she disappointed me in this one. I thought her character was too inconsistent. I think the actress felt that and it seeped through to her performance.
