entertaining education, not a bad thing at all
12 July 2008 | by See all my reviews

After watching this series on DAVE (UK free-view channel), I brought the DVD, usually educational programs are very boring, but not this series, James May does his best to explain where certain modern day and previous day inventions come from, how they came about, and why! James May is a likable character, one of three presenters from BBC's Top gear, deep down he is a bit of a boffin, which isn't a bad thing, just like many of us, we likes to understand how things work, how they came about, and presents it in a viewer friendly format! Unusualy, despite this series being made by the BBC, the DVD was released by ITV, weird eh!!
