Strange cravings and hallucinations befall a young couple after seeking shelter in the home of an aging farmer and her peculiar son.
This has all the window dressing, the aesthetic markers, of a good modern horror (think Hereditary, Relic etc) but with literally zero of the heart, story or backbone. It feels like a pastiche of of those movies that doesn't understand what truly makes them work.
PS I literally burst out laughing when Lena Dunham showed up.
