Storyline

Cassie (Linara Washington), Holly (Sienna Goines), and Sharice (Apryl Jones) are three talented actors who can't catch their big break. Feeling "played" by Hollywood, the women clap back and recruit their casting director friend Mabel (Ella Joyce) to put out a fake casting call for a 'black female western" film. What began as a publicity stunt meant to up their social media clout ends up giving them a bit more than they auditioned for.

I can't believe I can't binge more episodes!!!

A friend told me about this show and I just finished watching all the episodes and I absolutely loved it. I'm so bummed that there isn't more to binge...bc I want SOOO much more. I could have easily watched 6 more episodes today. It's incredibly well done. There's something for everyone. It's so relatable-- even though there were themes that I personally can't relate to, it was like "I know these girls!!!," like I'm already friends with them. There were no unlikable characters except for the ones intended to be unlikable, but there were so many likable characters that I didn't intend to like. The entire plot was really smart and funny; the writing was clever and witty without trying too hard. The lead actress is unbelievably gorgeous, which is normally intimidating, but her entire character is just someone I want to sit down with, have a glass of wine, and vent about our day. This is a legit winner, completely binge-worthy, and just fantastic TV!
