Lighten Up on this Film!
2 February 2009 | by screechinfoSee all my reviews

I did see this at the initial screening in Los Angeles, and to tell you the truth, considering there were a lot of first-time folks involved, it really doesn't deserve the bad rap above.

The director was smart because he had an experienced crew and listened to them - unlike a lot of novice directors who are convinced they know everything because they've read a few books on directing.

"The Wrath" has a lot of dry humor and at times, is fairly creepy.

The romantic leads were completely believable, which is a main reason why the story worked for me, and though the film was not in final finished form (I have not seen that version yet) I truly enjoyed the screening. Of course, it wasn't perfect (really what is?) but I could clearly see that the cast enjoyed the filming.

I hope that the Higgins group will continue to create and keep the love of the genre they clearly have.

I look forward to seeing other productions.
