Meat the Truth draws attention to intensive livestock production by demonstrating that livestock farming generates more greenhouse gas emissions worldwide than all cars, lorries, trains, boats and planes added together.
Great aim to educate about milk but too many annoying fillers
I love the documentary's aim to educate about the myths and lies surrounding milk as a nutritious food. Not only is dairy NOT a source of calcium -- it actually depletes our own calcium stores. There are other interesting and vital information to be learned from the film. However, I started to get annoyed after the 3rd person on the street was asked why they drank milk. And was then amazed to learn that the filmmakers thought it necessary (or entertaining???) to ask another 2 dozen people. It seemed as if half of the film contained annoying fillers; i.e., people saying that they learned milk facts from TV ads, others admitting that they didn't know what was lactose, a crew member asleep on the bus (???), etc etc.
