- While repairing space bridges, Young Optimus and his crew find the AllSpark, source of life on Cybertron, which attracts the forgotten Decepticons. They crash land on Earth and inadvertently cause a technological revolution.
- Optimus Prime is watching a video on the history of their war with the Decepticons. He is leader of a space bridge repair crew. While blasting rocks that are blocking a bridge, they discover the AllSpark. Unfortunately, a decepticon ship is nearby. They call Cybertron for help, and Ultra Magnus, leader of the Elite Guard, tells them to wait for an escort. However, Optimus gets a better reading on the Decepticon ship and learns it is not just a scout but a warship, so he tries to run for the nearest working space bridge. The Decepticons block their way. Meanwhile, the Decepticons on the ship are arguing, until Megatron enters. He knows the Autobots have the AllSpark. He disables their ship, then flies out to board. Just before he leaves, Starscream plants a bomb on his back. It goes off as he is blasting through the hull of the Autobot ship. The AllSpark activates the space bridge and takes the ship through, Megatron included, then destroys it behind them. The Decepticons abandon ship, except for Starscream, who was too busy making a speech to notice the explosion. The Autobot ship emerges near Earth, and they shut off the gravity so Megatron's size will not give him an advantage. As they enter the atmosphere, the docking tunnel is opened, and Optimus kicks Megatron out. His head lands in Paw Paw, Michigan, where a young Isaac Sumdac finds it; no one knows where his body went. The Autobots are unable to land safely, so Optimus orders them all into stasis pods. He steers the ship past a city and enters stasis himself just before they crash into lake Erie.—Amica Temporis
