When the Fates speak to Rose Walker about names, at ~22:50 they mention that she should be glad she meets them in their current roles; " you wouldn't want to meet us as the "kindly ones." This is a reference to the Greek Erinyes. While their name means "kindly ones", they are better known to English speakers as the Furies. A later collection of the Sandman comics is titled "The Kindly Ones" as Dream has considerable dealings with them.

Goofs
This episode repeatedly refers to action taking place at Cape Kennedy, Florida. There has been no such place since 1973. Cape Canaveral was renammed Cape Kennedy upon the President's death in 1963 but only retained the name for ten years before reverting back to the original. The NASA launch facility officially known as Kennedy Space Center is on nearby Merritt Island.

Guys and Dolls

I'm not so much confused as bamboozled by the oft changing storyline and objective of the show. The acting in this episode lacked though the cinematography continues to dazzle.
